Probably everyone already knows this, but if you make a public bookmark on AO3, everyone can see it - including the poster whose work you just bookmarked.
Probably everyone also knows this, but all tags are visible, even if they're on private bookmarks. The work that's bookmarked (and who bookmarked it) are invisible, but the tag itself is not. In case you didn't want to give away something about yourself by tagging your username on a private bookmark...
